We’re passionate about development surely as much as anyone on these boards, so we thought it was a good time to share some of the work with you. We’re about to launch a kickstarter and just had a humbly successful preview of the game published last week. On Kickstarter, the developers assured from the beginning there would be console versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but these versions of Bleak Faith: Forsaken will be released some time.

With an opportunity to bring a unique vision to life, I started building and learning how to use Unreal in order to be able to share this vision. This seemingly ensures that the game will appeal to players looking for a fresh experience rather than just fans of the works it resembles.Bleak Faith: Forsaken initially started as a graphic novel, before being transferred into the realm of 3D. Where the game differs is in its world design, as the 10-minute trailer reveals a somewhat modern, post-apocalyptic cityscape rather than a purely medieval fantasy setting. Details on the Steam page also promise difficult combat encounters as well as multiple classes and playstyles, both of which helped give the Souls series its identity.
